Leshaun Handsford

Leshaun Handsford is a Georgia native who relocated from Washington State to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina in 2022. A devoted wife and mother of four, she takes great pride in her family, including her sons, Bobby (24) and Brenton (20), and her daughters, Kennedy (18) and Bryana (14). Leshaun and her wife, Michele, have shared over a decade together and recently celebrated five years of marriage.

Professionally, Leshaun is licensed in nine states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Washington, Virginia, Texas, and Florida. While licensed across all lines of insurance business, her specialties are Medicare and Life Insurance. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate important healthcare and financial decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

Beyond her insurance career, Leshaun is a published author of five poetry books. Through her writing, she shares personal insights, inspiration, and the power of self-expression. An enthusiastic lifelong learner and avid reader, she enjoys reading two books at a time, balancing audiobooks with traditional print books to make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow.
