Hannah Heiser

Hannah’s Story

Hannah comes to this work from a deeply personal place. Coming from the working-class and living with chronic illness, she knows firsthand how overwhelming and inaccessible healthcare can feel—especially when insurance systems stand in the way. That lived experience fuels their passion for helping others, particularly folks from marginalized and underserved communities, access the care they need and deserve.

With a B.S. in Anthropology and a lifelong curiosity about how people and systems function, Hannah has always been drawn to the intersections of healthcare, ecology, psychology, and collectivism. They believe that navigating healthcare isn’t just about choosing a plan—it’s about understanding how to care for ourselves and each other within a complex system that often leaves the most vulnerable behind.

In her work, Hannah brings compassion, patience, and a commitment to clarity to every conversation. Whether someone is navigating Medicare, Marketplace plans, or just trying to understand their options, she is there to walk alongside them—making the process less stressful and more human, without jargon, pressure, or judgment.

Outside of work, Hannah lives on a beautiful collective land project in Leicester, NC. They spend their time working with horses, creating music and art, and connecting deeply with the land and their community. Her approach to healthcare and insurance is grounded in the same values that guide the rest of her life: care, connection, and clarity.
